We’re in the midst of announcing the winners for this year’s Mums Choice Awards and we’ve now come to the categories in our Children’s Entertainment section.

With so many apps on the market, knowing which ones to trust can be a challenge. That’s why we here at UKMums.TV tested a bunch of apps in order to find the best ones to download, judging each of them on safety, kid-friendliness, functionality and value for money.

We are delighted to name our winners for Best Children’s App as:

In a nutshell: “Children’s knowledge of important social skills will grow with the Sir Dapp! Game Show app, designed for ages 5-8. Kindness, respect and courtesy are all addressed with cheeky categories and questions to choose from, leading players to think how their actions or inactions impact upon others while choosing an answer. Sir Dapp and a colourful cast of characters lead the fun, infusing humor and excellent music into the long-running app.

What our tester said: “Just when you thought you couldn’t get the Peppa Pig theme tune out of your head, welcome the Sir Dapp! Game Show app and its catchy opening. This is a really high quality app that is intuitive to use and will keep little ones entertained for hours!  The characters are colourful and hilarious. We liked that there are interactive animations to discover too, like how you can tap the stage lights to change the colours.”

Congratulations Crystal Tree Group! But let’s not forget about our silver and bronze winners too!

  • SilverSpell Wizards (the demo is free / from £2.75 per month) by Spell Wizards
  • Bronze – Matific Galaxy (1-year access to a single grade plan is just £15 and 1-year access to the full K-6 plan is £30).

Come back tomorrow to find out who has won an award for Best Family-Friendly Festival in our Children’s Entertainment section and don’t forget to enter our competitions for the chance to win some of our gold award products here.
