In need of a family day out this summer holiday? We’ve teamed up with The Royal Mint to give you and your family* the chance to win tickets to The Royal Mint Experience.
The Royal Mint is behind all of our coins in the UK and in this experience you’ll get to see how the coins are made, coins over the years and more.
During your visit, you’ll learn more about the history of The Royal Mint, one of the top-rated tourist attractions in South Wales, you will be able to see the special coins and rare historical memorabilia that the exhibition holds.
There are six different zones (The Royal Mint and the Community, The Royal Mint and the World, Making Money, The Other Side of The Royal Mint, The Meaning of Coins and Coins and Collecting) to explore at your leisure and visitor hosts will be ready and waiting to answer any questions you may have.

Great British Coin Olympics
Every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 23rd July to 31st August (Five sessions per day)
Have you ever wanted to break the record for the furthest coin toss? Maybe the longest coin roll or highest coin tower? Now’s your chance! Take part in the greatest coin sport this summer at The Royal Mint Experience.
Did you know? The furthest coin flicking distance is 14.06M by Alastair Galpin, New Zealand in 2012? The largest coin pyramid was built by Lithuanian, Vytautas Jakstas using over one million coins in 2014 and the longest line of coins was measured at 75.24km, carefully lined up by school children in Austria. Finally, the farthest distance a coin has rolled was over 24m across the USA.

Design your own sundae and stay cool with SubZero! Tickets can be purchased here but are also free with the Royal Mint Experience tour.
