Unlike any other baby food brand, Little Tummy cold-press their organic ingredients to lock in the freshness, natural flavour, nutrients and colour, rather than using extreme heat. This process creates a long shelf life, so long that supermarket baby food is typically older than the baby that’s eating it. While this process does remove harmful bacteria, it also results in a watery puree lacking fresh taste, texture or colour. Another side effect is that the extreme heat condenses the fruit and veg into simple sugars, making this kind of baby food much higher in fruit sugars than Little Tummy meals.
All of the ingredients come from trusted partner farms who are EU certified organic and adhere to the highest food standards. The pots are made from plastic that’s completely free of BPA and harmful toxins, PLUS all of the packaging is 100% recyclable!
