We’re in the midst of World Breastfeeding Week, a seven day campaign that aims to educate and inform people around the world about the benefits of breastfeeding as well as support parents. Organised by the World Alliance for Breastfeeding Action (WABA for short), it takes place every year during the first week of August and plans to raise awareness of the links between good nutrition, poverty reduction, food security and breastfeeding.
With this in mind, we’ve rounded up our pick of essentials for new breastfeeding mums to encourage and support them.
