Our mums have been busy browsing the beverage aisles! From daytime drinks to “It’s 5pm somewhere” tipples, we’re bringing you the best drink products on the market. Keep reading to find out which products came out on top in the Mums Choice 2020 Awards.
Best Soft Drink:
It’s always nice to have a delicious tipple to hand when you’re indulging in a good feast! So our mums put some soft drinks to the test to see which they liked best! We are pleased to announce the winner of the Best Soft Drink category as:
- Gold – Kombucha (RRP £3.00 to £3.50 per bottle) by Booch & Brew

What our tester said: “We really liked the branding on the labels of the bottles; we thought they were really distinctive. We also loved the fact that the drinks have so many health benefits. Our favourite flavour was the Yuzu Lemonade, as it was really zesty and sweet.”
Best Alcoholic Drink:
If you enjoy a relaxing alcoholic beverage from time to time, especially around the festive season, you’ll want to keep reading! We had the tough (amazing!) job of reviewing the best alcoholic drinks on the market. Perfect as a winter warmer, our mums picked a seasonal favourite as their top tipple of choice. We are pleased to announce the winners of the Best Alcoholic Drink category as:
- Gold – Jacob Marley 5.5% Mulled Wine (RRP £7.49) by Celtic Marches

What our tester said: “Really great mulled wine! It’s nice and sweet and very easy to drink. We would go as far as to say that this was the best mulled wine that we’ve ever drunk – and we have drunk a fair few in our time!”
- Silver – Lily the Pink 4.5% Cider (RRP £2.50) by Celtic Marches
