If you’re looking for a closer to home break this year then glamping is often a really great, cost effective holiday to be had. You can have all the luxury of a private bathroom, electricity and a comfy bed but still get that outdoor experience and camping memories that are often something your kids will remember forever. As an office we have recently discovered a number of glamping websites that are great for booking the perfect trip for you and your family – here a few of our favourite finds:

Coastal retreat – Catchpenny Safari Lodges, Fife
Gather round the wood burner for cosy family nights, try the famous seafood of the East Neuk and watch from the deck as gannets dive into the sea. This is a really lovely retreat for all the family (including dogs!) and the coastal views from the decking are breath-taking.

Communal living for large families
The Gathering Camp, Ash Farm, Dorset
Meet with your favourite people at a lovely hut camp, relax in the hot tub, chat around the fire and hang out in Bluebell Woods. The Gathering Camp is just perfect for extended families with its four custom-made huts which sleeps 8-10 people.
