Whether it be a date night or a family afternoon out, we all love going to cinema and munching on our favourite snacks. Here are a few of the upcoming film releases which will be in local cinemas shortly.
1. City of Lies – release date 7th September
The murders of Tupac Shakur and Notorious B.I.G spark an investigation. Starring Johnny Depp, Forest Whittaker and Toby Huss.
2. Operation Finale – release date 14th September
15 years after World War II, a team of secret agents are brought together to track down Adolf Eichmann, the infamous Nazi architect of the Holocaust. Starring Oscar Isaac, Haley Lu Richardson, Ben Kingsley and Greta Scacchi.
3. The King of Thieves – release date 14th September
Following The Hatton Garden robbery in 2015, The King of Thieves tells the true story of the group of retired crooks that pulled off a multi-million-pound robbery. The King of Thieves stars Michael Caine, Charlie Cox, Michael Gambon, Ray Winstone, Jim Broadbent, Francesca Annis and Tom Courtenay.
4. A Simple Favour – release date 21st September
Directed by Paul Feig, A Simple Favour is based around Stephanie (Anna Kendrick), a mummy blogger who seeks to uncover the truth behind her best friend Emily’s (Blake Lively) sudden disappearance from their small town.
5. Night School – release date 28th September
Starring the hilarious Kevin Hart, Tiffany Haddish and Anne Winters, Night School follows a group of troublemakers who are forced to attend night school in hope that they’ll pass the GED exam in order to finish high school.
