A common theme that we have noticed from Pinterest and Instagram is that bobs, beachy highlights and pretty pastels are replacing long voluptuous locks and deep dark colours, which isn’t really surprising as darker hair will only make you hotter! Living Coral
Rain? In June? Brighten up your hair this season even if the weather isn’t playing ball with a hair makeover inspired by Pantone’s Colour of the Year for 2019, Living Coral. We are getting serious mermaid vibes from the warm, peachy orange tone that has been spotted all over Instagram and similarly on the runway at Marc Jacobs.

Lob
The lob aka a long bob is one versatile and low maintenance cut for summer. Lob hairstyles and haircuts are universally flattering on all face shapes, and are loved by stars like Emily Atack and Reese Witherspoon. When it comes to hair styling, you have lots of different options too; simply throw it up in a ponytail when you’re super-hot and sweaty, style it ‘some up some down’ or just wear it down and accessorise with a headband or hair clips. A lob is perfect for those wanting to keep their options open and not commit to having too much off.
Blunt bobs
Another easy-breezy cut for summer. There are so many good reasons to go shorter for summer but the one that always seems to crop up is the fact that nobody wants to use their iron or hairdryer when it’s already 35°C outside (okay, we can dream). Even celebs like Fearne Cotton, Demi Lovato and January Jones, who have sported long hair for years have bravely taken the chop.
Silver Chic
If you have naturally light or blonde hair, going silver will be a much easier and quicker process for you. Silver hair is having a moment on Instagram and its not surprising after L’Oréal Paris announced it as the Colour of the Year for 2019.
