Remember, Remember the 5th November – and all that! Looking for an organised event to attend, rather than setting off the odd rocket from the back garden? Then here are a few ideas for displays around the country – hopefully one will be near you!
1. The Old Rectory, Handsworth, Sheffield
For a family fun night out near Sheffield, The Old Rectory is well worth a visit with a bonfire, fireworks display, a bouncy castle, a BBQ, a licensed bar and more! Tickets are £5.00.
2. Long Melford Hall Big Night Out, Suffolk
The Long Melford Big Night Out is one of the largest charity bonfire and firework displays in Suffolk. As well as a stunning fireworks display and a gigantic bonfire, the event is also host to a large funfair with many rides and stalls, plus plenty of food outlets providing snacks and drinks for all of the family.
3. Beech Hill Hotel Guy Fawkes Night Party, Windermere
The Beech Hill Hotel in Windermere will be holding its Guy Fawkes Night Party on Saturday, 3 November and features a three course dinner, fire performers and a grand fireworks display over the waters of Windermere. So, if you’re in the Lake District area, this is worth a visit.
4. Westpoint – Round Table Charity Fireworks Display, Exeter
This is the largest pyro-musical charity firework display in Devon, with a large fair as well as a range of food and drink stalls, which will remain open until 21:00. The fireworks will start to go off at 19:30 so make sure you’re in town well in time to avoid missing all the action!
5. Glasgow Green Fireworks
This event is free and open to everyone – it starts at 17:00, when merchandise, food and drink stalls will open, along with a funfair. This will then be followed by the fireworks which will be set off at 19:30.
Are you having your own Bonfire party or will you be going to an organised event near to you? If so, let us know over on Facebook and Twitter.
