With so many towns and cities to explore in the UK, choosing where to spend the start of any New Year is challenging. Our mums have listed the best places to help you plan ahead and celebrate in style!
With the little ones:
Spinnaker Tower, Portsmouth
We hope you’re not afraid of heights! Starting our list on the South Coast of England. If you’re looking for a location slightly different to the norm, then we recommend that you spend your New Year partying on the top floor of the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth! There’s plenty of opportunity to try out fancy drinks, canapés, listen to live music, all while surrounded by stunning oceanic views. Not to mention there’s also a giant glass floor (try walking on that after a few glasses of wine!). If you’re out with the little ones, no problem, there’s plenty of family-friendly restaurants located all around the tower from recognisable favourites such as Frankie and Benny’s to smaller chains that you may want to try! London:
As we asked around our team of mums, there was one destination that was mentioned more than all of the others – of course, it’s the UK’s capital. There are endless amounts of clubs, restaurants, concerts and family-friendly events where you can celebrate the New Year with your little ones and friends in style. Whilst you’re in London, why not stop by London’s South Bank to watch the unforgettable fireworks display on the River Thames. Additionally, if you’re an early riser (or in our case, the little one is an early riser), you can also watch the New Year’s Day parade featuring thousands of performers from all over the world!
Without the little ones:
