The short few years when kids believe in Santa and all the magic of the North Pole are so precious and there’s no better way to get them into the Christmas spirit than visiting a Santa’s grotto!
With Christmas being just a month away, we’ve rounded up our pick of the best grottos to visit in the UK for one-on-one time with Santa and his elves!
Rush Trampoline Park, High Wycombe
Jingle all the way to Rush Trampoline Park, High Wycombe to meet Father Christmas and his loveable elves for fun, magic and bouncing at this festive time of the year. The festive grotto will be open from Monday 25th November to Friday 20th December 7 days a week from 9am to 12pm and children can take part in seasonal activities, spend time with Father Christmas and receive a free hot chocolate and a special gift to take home.
Entry to the Rush Santa’s Grotto costs £4.50 if you pre-book online and £5 if you book in the park.
LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort
At the LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort, families can enjoy the much loved rides and attractions, meet Father Christmas (with every child receiving a LEGO gift!) and enjoy a host of festive LEGO building fun on select dates from 30th November – 24th December. Families can also stay over at the LEGO themed hotel’s for a Santa Sleepover.
Tickets including a visit to see Father Christmas are £36 per person or £26 per person for Annual Pass holders and can be pre-booked online in advance here. Under 2’s get free entry to LEGOLAND at Christmas. Guests can also enjoy a day at the Resort, without visiting Father Christmas with theme park only tickets, for £25 per person.
Rumwell Farm Shop, Somerset
Father Christmas will be taking time out of his super busy schedule to spend two days at the Rumwell Farm Shop. The man of the moment will be visiting on Saturday 7th December and Saturday 14th December where he will meet all of the boys and girls that want to come and say ‘hello’, and tell him their Christmas wishes. Each child will get to meet Father Christmas for five minutes and be given an age appropriate gift.
Bookings will be available from 11am until 4pm on Saturday, December 7 and Saturday, December 14. Tickets cost £6.95 per child.
Humble Bee Farm, North Yorkshire
One of Wigwam® Holidays’ glamping sites Humble Bee Farm, is hosting its first ever Santa’s Grotto event. Emerald the Elf and her friend Rudolph need your help to rescue Santa in time for Christmas! On arrival guests need to collect their pre-booked tickets from main reception before boarding the special sleigh that will signal the magical start of the festive Grotto experience. For this special Christmas Grotto event, the farm’s nomadic yurts will be transformed into stunning festive locations for this fun-packed family show packed with lots of interactive games and challenges with many opportunities to join in, guests can meet Santa Claus himself and children will receive a special gift.
The shows will be about an hour long and are available at the following times: 10am, 12pm, 2pm and 4pm on Saturday 14th December.
