Our mums have been busy reviewing some of the top baby products on the market. They have found the best nursery must-haves, feeding products, safety products and baby toiletries ton the market! Keep reading to find out which baby products came out on top in each category.

Nursery Must-Have:

For the littlest members of the family, we only want the best. We want them to be healthy, happy and we want them to know that they’re loved! So our mums have been scouting out the must-haves for any nursery. From health products to changing mats, all the way through to decorative items, this category was full of items that you’ll want to stock up on! We are pleased to announce the winners of the category as:

About the product: “This collection of licensed Peter Rabbit alphabet letters makes the perfect gift or self-purchase for a child’s nursery. Each stand-alone 7cm letter is hand-painted, complete with a different character from Beatrix Potter’s classic tales. Choose the first letter of a child’s name as a special memento, or buy more of these collectors’ items to spell out a name.”

What our tester said: “A beautiful, very good quality decorative ornament, which isn’t too expensive for a keepsake. There letters offer a really lovely, easy way to personalise a young child’s bedroom.”

Best Feeding Products

Feeding is an important time of the day for all members of the family – not least the littlest ones, so our mums and their little ones have also been busy reviewing some fantastic products to help make mealtimes an enjoyable time of day for everyone involved! We are pleased to announce the winning product in the category as:

About the product: “Kendamil Organic is the only British-made infant formula. This organic follow-on milk is made with full-cream milk; the recipe does not include palm oil or fish oil. Kendamil uses an all-British organic supply chain and a vegetarian recipe with plant-based Omega-3. The formula is one of the most natural, traceable and sustainable in the world. In addition, this superior quality formula retails at just £12.00, a fraction of the price of competitive products.”

What our tester said: “For an organic product, it is good value for money. The instructions are clear and the packaging is great. I love the fact that there are no palm oils in the formula!”

Best Baby Toiletries:

Baby toiletries that are gentle on the skin and make bath time a stress-free, relaxing experience get the thumbs up from us! But what are the best baby toiletries on the market? Our mums have been busy trying out toiletries that are kind on babies’ skin and gentle enough for everyday use, and the results are in! In this year’s Mums Choice Awards Best Baby Toiletries category, the winners are as follows:

About the product: “Caring for babies’ skin for 70+ years, the Ramer Ultra Soft Baby Sponge is a bath time essential. Specially developed with a super-fine texture to be kind to baby’s delicate skin, the sponges harden as they dry, helping to prevent the growth of bacteria, and are machine washable at 40oC so you can re-use them. Available in handy twin packs for top to tail baby hygiene.”

What our tester said: “We LOVE these sponges! I bought a different brand recently and they were nowhere near as soft as the sponges from Ramer Sponges. They offer great value for money and they come in nice packaging, too!”

Best Safety Product:

For children in their early years, safety is a huge consideration when making any purchase. With a child’s body still developing, children can’t always use the products that adults do. But there are some great products on the market that offer a safe alternative for young children. Our mums were particularly impressed with one product. This was a pair of headphones that allows children to listen to their audio at a safe volume, while they learn about endangered species! The winner of the Best Safety Product category is:

About the product: “Planet Buddies have created a range of environmentally friendly products based on a variety of colourful characters who represent endangered species from all over the world. There are 24 Planet Buddies character cards and crayons included with each pair of headphones. Children can mix and match their cards and create individual designs. With these animal cards, children will learn all about the endangered animals, as well as what children can do to help save the planet. The headphones are volume limited to 85 decibels, which is the level recommended by the World Health Organisation.  The packaging is all completely recyclable.”

What our tester said: “My daughter loved these headphones; she said they were very comfortable and it was fun swapping the cards over to new characters. The straps are adjustable, which is good and makes them suitable for more ages. Plus, she says the sound is good and that can hear the audio well. She is looking forward to choosing a new character every day.”
