These easy summer cocktails are simple to prepare and perfect for enjoying during the warm summer months. For all of the below simply pour all the ingredients into a glass or jug with ice and stir!
Four of The Best Easy Summer Cocktails
Rhubarb Fizz
Ingredients – makes 1 glass
- 50ml rhubarb gin (substitute for Rhubarb Presse for a mocktail!)
- 50ml grapefruit juice
- 25ml elderflower cordial
- Lemonade
Lemon Ice Tea
Ingredients – makes 10 servings
- 1L of cooled English breakfast tea (use 4 tea bags)
- 1 ½ litres still lemonade
- 6 tbsp. caster sugar
- Mint sprigs and lemon slices to garnish
Orange and Basil Fizz
Ingredients – makes 6
- 10 tbsp Cointreau
- 10 drops of Angostura aromatic bitters
- Bottle of Chilled Prosecco or sparkling wine
- Orange zest and basil leaves for garnish
Blackberry Mojito
Ingredients – makes 1 glass
- 50ml light rum
- 100ml soda
- Juice of 1 lime
- 1 tsp. sugar
- Fresh blackberries and a handful of fresh mint leaves for garnish
Deliciously simple, these easy summer cocktails often require minimal effort and a handful of readily available ingredients including fresh, seasonal fruits and berries, as well as herbs like mint and basil, which add a refreshing and aromatic touch.
All of these easy summer cocktails can be made as a non-alcoholic option too, for those who prefer to skip the alcohol. And the lack of alcohol certainly won’t mean they’re lacking in taste.
