Merry Christmas to our fabulous mums, dads and doting grandparents! As 2018 is coming to a close we thought that we’d share some of our highlights from the year with you all – we hope you enjoy the read!
1. Revamp of UKMums.TV
We were in desperate need of a new website for months, and after many meetings with web designers and developers our new website was launched on 11th October – we hope you love it just as much as we do!

2. Mums Choice Awards
We ran our annual Mums Choice Awards and achieved a record number of entries! We would just like to take this opportunity to congratulate all of our winners and thank everyone who entered. If you missed our awards announcements you can see who won which award here.
3. New editorial team
In April we recruited Sarah as the junior editor of UKMums.TV. Sarah writes and edits our features, competitions and social media for the website. UKMums.TV is her baby and we are thrilled to have her on the team!
4. Reg the pug
Our resident food writer Ellie from Ellie’s Kitchen UK bought a pug in May. His name is Reg (Reginald when he’s up to no good) and he comes into the office every now and then for cuddles and to cause mischief.
5. Social media milestones
In December we hit 40,000 followers on Twitter! Our Twitter account has been up for 7 years now, so we are over the moon to have achieved this milestone – thank you!
6. Shortly after the new website was launched we created an Instagram account to keep you all up to date with our upcoming Twitter frenzies, features and office antics. We have already reached over 300 followers and would just like to say a big thank you for your support!
