Hello October! Can you believe we’re even saying that? We’ve just finished watching Amazon Prime’s Carnival Row and we bloomin’ loved it (not to mention that hauntingly beautiful song ‘I Fly For You’)!
Carnival Row is very much like Game of Thrones in terms of its setting, gore and adult only scenes. Plus it stars Indira Varma who played Ellaria Sand in Game of Thrones! We think Carnival Row will be inspiring a lot of Halloween and Comic Con costumes this year, which leads us onto our hunk of the month for October, Orlando Bloom!
Carnival Row follows a human detective (Orlando Bloom) and a fairy (Cara Delevingne) rekindle a dangerous affair in a Victorian fantasy world (very steampunk), where the city’s uneasy peace collapses when a string of murders reveals an unimaginable monster.
If you can’t get enough of Orlando Bloom in Carnival Row (because we know we can’t!), he can be seen in The Lord of the Rings movies, Pirates of the Caribbean and S.M.A.R.T. Chase.
