With the clocks going back in October and winter on the way, the nights will be getting darker earlier. If your little one struggles to get to sleep at night or is afraid of the dark we recommend that you put a night light on just before your little one hits the hay for a cosy effect and to provide a sense of reassurance. Here's our round up of our favourite night lights:
Robot SleepyLight, RRP £39.95, Abbeygate Lighting – Complete with a remote control this cool looking night light by Aolka allows you to choose from 12 different and soothing LED colours. Its low heat LEDs can be dimmed too to help you and your child get a restful nights’ sleep.
Kiki the Kitten Projector, RRP £31.99, John Lewis – We love this cute kitty night light by Zazu. Your little one will love its purrfectly soft plush body along with its striped ears and tail. At the flick of a switch watch in awe as your child’s bedroom transforms into a magical starry night sky, whilst playing a selection of soothing melodies. In addition, Kiki is voice activated and the star projector will switch on if your little one starts to cry in fear of the dark.
Lumie Bedbug, RRP £54.99, John Lewis – This friendly looking bedbug is a bedside light that promotes a calm bedtime and a good night’s sleep with its low-blue light feature. It’s a 3-in-1 product that combines a reading light with a gradual sunset feature and nightlight.
Unicorn Night Light, RRP £6.99
Nothing screams magical more than a unicorn and we love this nightlight from Find Me a Gift. What makes this little (or should we say rather big) unicorn even more unique than the rest is that it colour changes, yes, you read that right. It will softly phase through the seven colours of the rainbow, sending your child off into a peaceful slumber, well that’s if they can ever stop looking at how adorable it is. Simply pop the battery-operated light on your child’s bedside table or desk and you’re good to go. Plus, who wouldn’t want a unicorn watching over them?
