[AD] Here at UKMums.TV, we love to encourage role play and creating scenarios for play. It is such an important part of a child’s development, as it builds confidence, creativity communication, physical development and problem solving.
Along with being a fun activity, it also allows children to get into character and act out real life roles or fictional performances. It can be purely child-led and encourages children to take risks and be creative with the role they are playing. By investing in some themed props and equipment, it’s a fun way for little ones to learn about different professions and day-to- day situations.
Doctors, teachers, builders, police and shopkeeper role play equipment is perfect for encouraging empathy between children. It allows them to act out real life situations and get creative! It increases a child’s ability to positively interact with others, giving them the responsibility to act accordingly effectively disguising learning as play!
Real Life Situations
Allowing children to act out real life situations, such as grocery shopping, camping or driving gives them the opportunity to learn about real-life environments and situations at their own pace. It can also build confidence for when they are in those situations at a later date. When they engage in this type of role play, they can develop their verbal communication skills and physical mannerisms by practising what they have already learnt in real life situations.
With the Bellies Babies, adoption and giving your baby a home is a very important part of play. As well as nurturing the baby through its health – the Bellies are a perfect way for little ones to start nurturing through play.
You can see more about nurturing through play over on the Bellies Babies EN YouTube channel here.
