With summer just around the corner we are declaring this the start of ice cream season! But forget having a scoop of Walls and a flake, the UK is booming with fun and quirky places to get an “instagramable” scoop. Here are some of our top picks!

Chin Chin Ice Cream – London – Perhaps the ultimate place for Instagramable ice-creams, unusual flavours and cool toppings such as chocolate crackle and toasted marshmallow!

Science Cream – Cardiff – For a bit of drama then Science Cream is the place to go! They make their ice cream right in front of you using liquid nitrogen!

Ginger’s Comfort Emporium – Manchester – For great ice cream and indulgent, quirky treats then this is another awesome parlour to try.

Soft Serve society – London – If it’s a Mr Whippy style cone you’re after then there is no better place to go than Soft Serve (Shoreditch or Victoria). Not only are there several great flavours to choose from but you can also customise your cone or tub with all sorts of sugary toppings!

Pan ‘n Ice – London, Birmingham, Manchester – Another place where the ice cream magic happens right before you, but this time it’s with the helping hand of a frozen plate. These ice cream rolls are super smooth, creamy and can be flavoured with fresh fruit and sauces and topped with whatever you like!

Loop and Scoop – Glasgow – Because why wouldn’t you combine two of the best desserts going?! Ice cream and churros anyone?
