With the government advising us all to stay indoors to help stop the spread of Coronavirus, there has never been a better time to Netflix and chill. Try not to stay locked in the news and instead immerse yourself in a new TV series or re-watch your favourite one to take your mind off everything that’s going on right now.

Here are our favourites that we think are worth a watch;

The Stranger
The Stranger is in its first season and is made up of eight episodes all less than an hour long, so you could easily watch this in a day!
What IMDb says: “The stranger follows the lives of suburban families whose secrets and lies are made public by the appearance of a stranger.”
Stars: Richard Armitage, Shaun Dooley and Siobhan Finneran.


You
You Season 1 and Season 2 are both available on Netflix right now and there are 10 episodes in each.
What IMDb says: “A dangerously charming, intensely obsessive young man goes to extreme measures to insert himself into the lives of those he is transfixed by.”
Stars: The brilliant Penn Badgley, Ambyr Childers, Victoria Pedretti and Elizabeth Lail.



Altered Carbon
What IMDb says: “Set in a future where consciousness is digitised and stored, a prisoner returns to life in a new body and must solve a mind-bending murder to win his freedom.”
Stars: Chris Conner, Renee Elise Goldsberry and Will Yun Lee.

Suits
What IMDb says:
“On the run from a drug deal gone bad, brilliant college dropout Mike Ross, finds himself working with Harvey Specter, one of New York City’s best lawyers.”
Stars: Gabriel Macht, Patrick J. Adams and Meghan Markle.

The Witcher
If seeing the hunk that is Henry Cavill on your screen doesn’t cheer you up then we don’t know what will!

The Witcher follows the story of Geralt of Rivia, a solitary monster hunter, who struggles to find his place in a world where people often prove more wicked than beasts.”
Stars: Henry Cavill, Freya Allan and Anya Chalotra.
