Stats from Public Health England have revealed that the UK has some of the lowest rates of breastfeeding in the world, with only 43.7% of mums still breastfeeding their baby at six to eight weeks after birth. This number is especially low when compared to countries like Norway, which achieves rates of 80% at 3 months.
