This week, we’ve teamed up with Nosy Crow to offer six lucky readers the chance to win a book bundle for babies and toddlers, each worth over £40.

Every parent knows how important it is to keep little ones entertained, but we also want them to learn new things such as fine motor skills, build their vocabulary and stimulate speech.

Connecting with faces and playing peekaboo is one of the first games that babies play, making the Peekaboo books series ideal for early learning. There are sliders on every page for babies and toddlers to engage with too.

The felt flaps in Where’s Mr Fire Engine are durable enough for little hands to tug and pull and the surprise mirror ending again makes use of babies’ love of peekaboo playing.

Pip and Posy stories mimic the ups and downs of toddler life, teaching kids new skills when playing with friends. In The Friendly Snail, they’ll learn how to value each other’s differences.

Building vocabulary in a fun and engaging way is a job for 100 First Words: City, where big flaps on every page get children involved in learning new words around city life.

I’m Thinking of a Sea Creature will teach them more about a range of animals living in the ocean, from sharks to sea horses.

Love the sound of these brilliant books? Our six lucky winners will each receive the following titles:

  • Peekaboo Sun by Camilla Reid and Ingela P Arrhenius (RRP £7.99)
  • 100 First Words: City by Edward Underwood (RRP £12.99)
  • Pip and Posy: The Friendly Snail by Camilla Reid and Axel Scheffler (RRP £9.99)
  • Where’s Mr Fire Engine by Ingela P Arrhenius (RRP £6.99)
